Grandparents struggle with car seat

Yes we're the grandparents that bought a good, national brand, car seat so our son could be assured that his child would be safe in our care. But it took us both to figure our how to assemble and install the seat.

Since we only get to care for the kids on occasionally we need to remorve and store it. That's another struggle. So I ask you, why can't the maker's of these items take us into account. There must be a better and easier way to help us install and store items like these.

We want to make manufacturers of items like these that there is a grandparent's maket. We buy. We want good stuff. We want good value. And we wand ease of use.

Tell us your story of struggle with a kiddie item you bought for your grandchildren. We'll forward it to manufacturers to let them know they should address these problems.
